Marnie CHARLTON, Director

Marnie Charlton has over 25 years experience in clinical practice, management and education in private and government organisational environments. Marnie has a Bachelor of Health Sciences and has a Master of Business Administration. She holds a Certificate 4 Workplace Training and Assessment.

Marnie has extensive experience in:

• recommending and advising on strategies to address emergent and ongoing management issues for staff at all levels
• designing, implementing and evaluating effective professional development programs, including the delivery of training where required
• developing effective strategies to ensure continuous service improvements through quality management systems (including specific experience in the accreditation of organisations)
• providing advice and input into the creation of policies and procedures in relation to the full-spectrum of professional practice and project management issues
• designing conceptual frameworks and service delivery models
• effectively facilitating organisational change, mindful of the multiple factors and personal dimensions associated with change
• effectively integrating multiple services and providers
• developing effective strategies to ensure continuous service improvements through quality management systems (including specific experience in the accreditation of organisations)
• developing and reviewing Competency-based frameworks to improve practice and communicate role responsibilities
• developing specific applications, proposals and grant submissions for a range of projects to support organisational strategic direction.

Marnie is also an experienced genealogist. She has experience in researching local, national and international ancestry. Marnie has extensively researched client family trees, in particular Irish, English, Welsh and Scottish ancestry. She is a member of the Queensland Family History Society and is a member of the Australasian Association of Genealogists and Record Agents (AAGRA).  She also completed the Graduate Diploma of Local, Applied and Family History at UNE in July 2011.  She has many current subscriptions, providing membership access to online and written genealogy tools.
